April Lockhart
April Lockhart, born in 1995 on the 4th day of July, started taking piano and guitar lessons from age seven. She was interested in songwriting was awakened. April Lockhart composed her first single, Different at the age 12 years old. At the age of 14, April spent a lot of time to creating song concepts and practicing the music she was playing. After a while, she began traveling with her father and to write songs at home in NY and LA. April featured other topics in her song"Take my Hand. These topics were meant for the friends of hers who struggled with issues such as peer pressure issues or even teenage suicide thinking. Lockhart collaborates with the well-known cosmetics brand Ilia as well as an influencer in the lifestyle industry with a huge following of her own. Her birth was without a left hand and that is part of who she is--but it's hardly her whole story. Lockhart doesn't deny her disability on Instagram, but she doesn't make it the focus of her story. The message is? The message? We each contain multitudes, that our physical and identity self aren't as they seem. I don't want that to define me I don't intend to become an influencer in which I only discuss because there are other elements to me Lockhart states in video form from her house in Nashville. The fact that she is a disability influencer doesn't impact my everyday life. It's all normal, and I've learned to adjust. Since it's a an integral part of me It's a topic worthy of talking about. Lockhart who is an source of inspiration for anyone who wants to be self-accepting, is on a long journey to achieve this. She admits that she's been through periods of being uncomfortable with her body, at times, feeling insecure to wear particular types of clothes which showed the arms of her. She now wears whatever she likes. She also posts her photos on social networks. The self-love she talks about is a process. It's hard to say if you'll ever reach the end. This is true for everyone, no matter what their level of insecurity. The people you surround yourself with, who know your personal story and who can look into your heart are the best people to remind you of what you're worrying about.
